Information we process
We process account and profile details; Room access and bidding permissions; Auction catalogues; Lot numbers, descriptions, quantities, condition, location, organizer terms, and selected photos or videos; bids and private maximum instructions for each Lot; Auction Night participation; results and handoff records; messages; alert preferences; saved searches; reviews; support requests; and feedback.
The installed app may register a device token for alerts. The photo picker gives LotCircle only the media you select for upload; it does not upload your whole library. Feedback screenshots and diagnostic context are included only when you choose them. Selected country, city, region, and currency help present relevant Rooms, Lots, and amounts.
We process IP addresses, connection and session information, and browser, operating-system, and device details to secure LotCircle and investigate errors or unusual request activity. Signed-in verified accounts also send coarse page groups, interaction types, and bounded performance timings. Those usage measurements exclude typed text, field values, pointer coordinates, and raw page addresses.
On our landing page, a first-party browser identifier helps count visits and new or returning visitors for up to one year. We record the landing address and campaign tags, referring site and path when available, visible page time, and iOS or Android install-button clicks. Request context includes IP address, IP-derived country when available, browser and operating system, device class, language, time zone, and viewport dimensions. Landing visit and click details are retained for 90 days, with IP addresses encrypted at rest and reports restricted to administrators. Clearing browser storage resets the visitor identifier.
How information is used
Information is used to confirm identity and permissions, operate Rooms, Auction catalogues and Lots, validate bids, run Auction Night, record each Lot result, deliver messages and alerts, provide support, prevent abuse, and investigate reports. Our email provider returns delivery, delay, bounce, and complaint reports so we can track email delivery and avoid retrying bounced addresses.
Technical and activity details help authorized administrators protect LotCircle and resolve reliability or compatibility problems. LotCircle does not sell personal information or use it to track you across unrelated apps for advertising.
Store purchase information
Apple or Google processes the store transaction. RevenueCat helps LotCircle verify subscription and entitlement status. LotCircle receives an account identifier, product and store details, transaction references, relevant dates, price and currency when available, and lifecycle events such as renewal, cancellation, grace, refund, or revocation. LotCircle does not receive your full card details.
Purchase and entitlement records are used to provide Organizer Pro, prevent duplicate delivery, handle reversals, and support you. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat also process purchase information under their own privacy terms.
Who can see it
Public discovery can show Room and organizer details, Auction context, and permitted Lot previews, including published descriptions, media, and location. Joining and bidding still follow Room access rules. Private Room content and conversations are limited to authorized bidders and organizers. Invited Auction Night guests can access that event without ongoing Room membership. Your private maximum is not shown to other bidders or the organizer; accepted bids and bidder identity may appear in authorized Lot activity and leaderboards. Winner handoff details are limited to its participants and authorized administrators. Support chats are available to you and designated support administrators. Service providers process information to operate LotCircle. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or needed to protect bidders and the service.
Your choices and deletion
Manage your profile and optional alerts in Account. You can request or complete account deletion there, and you can contact Support for privacy questions or requests.
LotCircle keeps information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here. Auction, bid, outcome, handoff, safety, billing, entitlement, and audit records may remain when needed to preserve trustworthy history, provide purchased access, prevent duplicate delivery, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Account details are removed or de-identified where the record no longer needs to identify you.
